ODIN supports the exercise management

The exercise STEINFELD23 was carried out in "hybrid" form where the majority of the forces were simulated.

Thanks to the interoperability services, the position data of all forces was visualized in real time in ODIN. The position data of the real units was determined via VHF-radio and BOS (TETRA) devices, while that of the simulated units was transferred to ODIN via the simulator's NFFI interface.

In order to maintain clarity, the exercise management used the color schemes available in the symbol standard to distinguish the different data sources.
